My favorite movie I have ever watched is Money Ball starring Brad Pitt. It is about the 2002 Oakland Athletics the season after a disappointing post-season loss to the New York Yankees. Brad Pitt plays former player and now new General Manager Billy Beane. Billy faces the struggle of losing his top three players and has to deal with a tight budget and create a successful team in the 2003 season. I like this movie because it deals with the statistical side of baseball that nobody really is aware of. It breaks the game down to a very technical view point that ultimately leads the team to success yet again.
I really like all movies, there isn´t necessarily a movie I absolutely didn´t like. However, horror movies aren´t the ideal movies for me. I see why people like them, because they want to be scared, but why would you want to get scared a lot on purpose? I guess I am just a big fan of calm and relaxing strategical movies such as Money Ball.
I work at the Premier Palace here in Springfield, usually I go back to my workplace after a work shift and see a movie. I love movies, and I would rather watch them at home. However, I believe in getting the movie goer experience. So, I often like going to see movies at a classic theater like the Palace.
I usually don´t need much to watch a movie. I sit down with a drink or a snack and usually make it through all of the movie. The only time I would get up is if I had to use the restroom at some point during the movie.
If my life was made into a movie, I would probably hire Jim Parsons to portray me as a character since I have been told by multiple people that we look alike. I would highlight my high school and college careers as well as my professional career as a writer. And in the end, I would create a happy ending, because who doesn´t want a happy ending?
